Software Development Engineer

This position will own the end to end websites for businesses developing features and functionality from sign in to checkout and a number of tier-1 services supporting the cart and core website.
Basic Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 2+ years professional experience in software development
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years professional experience in software development
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design
Computer Science fundamentals in data structures
Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Perl.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to take a project from initial scoping requirements through actual launch and support of the project
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Clear, professional communication skills able to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions
